DOMINION

It is time for the believers to walk in dominion; it is time for the believers to walk in the authority God has given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The believers in Christ have to rediscover their identity and destiny. Let’s dive in!

Zech. 4:6 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the Lord of hosts.

God created man in His own image and likeness to be a ruler in this world. God Himself is a King and Ruler, and that is why Adam was the first king and ruler on planet earth. Adam was given kingship and dominion by God. The word Dominion comes from the word “RADA.” (Strong’s H7287) This word “RADA” means to rule, have dominion, dominate, to tread down (with the feet).

Gen. 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

God gave man dominion over all the earth, the demonic, the birds of the air (Matt 13:4, 19), and the things that creep on the earth like snakes. Adam had the authority and power to tread on snakes under his feet. But instead of treading down Satan under his feet, he and Eve started to listen to Satan and came under Satan’s feet.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to restore His dominion as the last Adam when He walked in this world. The Lord Jesus Christ came to restore dominion to the people who receive Him and believe in His name. The Lord Jesus Christ came with Kingdom Power and Authority to show that the time of the reign of Satan was over.

Gen. 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."

The Lord Jesus Christ crushed the head of the serpent under His feet when He died on the cross, where His heel was crushed.  The Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead and gave His power and authority to those who believe in Him.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right (AUTHORITY) to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

In the same way as the Lord Jesus Christ had dominion and crushed the head of the serpent, He gives believers dominion to trample on serpents, which are demons.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

We can only do this when we are IN Christ, seated with Him far above all serpents, seated with Him in the heavenly places. This is the seat of a king who can rule and have dominion according to God’s original plan. God has raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 2:6) Together with Christ, He placed us far above any serpent, scorpion, or enemy.

Eph. 1:20-23 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE ALL principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

When we are in the body of Christ, we are seated with Him in Heavenly places, and all principality, power, might, and dominion are under our feet as well. That is why we can rule and have dominion here on earth. It has no use to fight against these principalities here on earth, but we should rule and have dominion over these principalities from our seat in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Rom. 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

As believers, we need to know our position in Christ. When we start to know that and take our position in the heavenly place,s the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet.

Ps. 91:13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

In Psalm 91, we see the same principle. When we abide in the secret place of the Most High and under the shadow of the Almighty (Ps. 91:1), we will be safe and can walk in His dominion and authority and tread upon the lion and the cobra. The secret place of the Most High talks about the heavenly places.

In Christ, we come back to God’s original plan to rule and have dominion. When we see this world, there is a lot that we should crush under our feet. In Christ, we have all authority.

Ps. 8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

In the book of Matthew, we can read that King Jesus wants to share all authority with us. King Jesus wants to share His authority with those who go out to preach the gospel and disciple the nations.

Matt. 28:18  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Therefore Go!

King Jesus shares His heavenly and earthly authority with us who believe. He wants us to rule and have dominion over all the earth. That is why He gives us the tools to cast out demons and to heal the sick. He shares His authority with us in Heaven (cast out demons), and His authority on earth (heal the sick).

Are you ready to be used by God? Did you take your position in the heavenly places? Do you want to rule and have dominion? The Church in this end-time has no other way to reap the harvest for King Jesus! Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to be seated with Christ in the heavenly places, and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you about your new identity in Christ and how to walk in dominion. The Holy Spirit wants to teach you all things!

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Rom. 5:17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Through Christ, we can reign in life as a king, because Christ is the King of kings. Through Christ, we can reign in life and rule and have dominion because He gave us His righteousness. Righteousness is a gift!

Matt. 10:1 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

Luke 9:1-2 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Ps. 18:37-38 I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. 38 I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.

Rom. 15:19  in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

2Cor. 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.
